Imaging has been a part of my life since the early 1980s but I've always been "that guy" who stops to look up at passing aircraft.
I spent nearly 30 years working in some form of video production and I still work on the occasional project today. This led to a 15-year freelance career at the network level in which I worked NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL, NCAA, PGA, LPGA, NASCAR broadcasts for FOX Sports, NBC, ABC, CBS, TNT and ESPN. Along the way, I was blessed to be on the receiving end of eight Emmy Awards for Outstanding Team Technical Remote.
In 2010, after countless airline flights and hotel beds, I decided to apply my creative skills to photography and combined with my existing passion for aviation, Crosswind Images was born. In just a few short years, I've managed to contribute to calendars, books, magazines and I was even on the cover of the 2012 Aviation Week & Space Technology "Photo and Art" edition. I am a member of the Arizona Aviation Photographers.
I'm actively seeking aircraft owners and pilots who would like to have their aircraft photographed or who might consider doing a sunrise or sunset portrait session of or with their airplane! I'm also on the lookout for opportunities to do feature stories on just about any home-built, classic or warbird as well.
I value feedback from visitors so if you feel an image is particularly worthwhile, I'd love to hear from you via email, or come find me on Facebook. I prefer to pre-approve all orders from my website. This may slow the delivery process just a little but it will ensure that my customers get the very best quality prints.
I reside in the greater Phoenix area with my wife, Kristen.
I shoot with Canon EOS digital cameras and Canon EF lenses and I do all my post processing work in Adobe products.
Crosswind Images also maintains a presence on Fine Art America
Thank You...
